Just before summer and the period of summer holidays, Paris offers some new exhibitions in its most iconic museums:
Centre Pompidou devotes a retrospective to French modernism through the exhibition U.A.M, une aventure moderne 1929-1958 (May 30-August 27)
The Musée d’art moderne de la ville de Paris explores the richness of the work of one of the most important Chinese painters and engravers: Zao Wou-Ki : l’espace est silence (June 1, 2018 to January 6, 2019)
Musée du Louvre, presents an exhibition around the collection of pastels of the museum on the occasion of Pastels du musée du Louvre (7 June-10 September)
Musée d'Orsay makes us discover the sculptures in painting thanks to the exhibition In colour, the polychrome sculpture in France from 1850 to 1910 (June 12-September 9)
In collaboration with the Tate Modern, the Petit Palais installs the Thames along the Seine with the exhibition The Impressionists in London: travel in the footsteps of French painters exiled across the Channel (June 21 to October 14).
